What started as a one hour demonstration at the opening of the Rockhampton Museum of Art has now been completed, a couple of days later. In tackling this subject I wanted to show my support and sorrow for the people of Ukraine by emphasizing the theme of blue and yellow.
The young man's sunglasses are reflecting some ancient ruins from a Minoan site in Crete. This led me to further contemplate the need to not allow the repetition of destruction from previous history but to learn and move forward with determination and compassion.
